The tram is designed to enhance the travelling experience reflecting Stockholm’s characteristics. It has a clean and modern look with a familiar feeling blending in the city’s modest look.

The exterior and interior of the tram convey the Scandinavian design approach which stresses simplicity and function. Big glass surfaces showcase the spectacular city landscape with the help of changeable driver’s cab, which utilizes the best room on a tram, and break down the “wall” between passengers and drivers. 

Connected 

The Stockholm tram is designed to be a connection point between Stockholm people and the city, instead of being a closed transportation box. To do so, the tram uses big glass surfaces which wraps around the roof and goes down to the floor. Also middle compartment’s ceiling is transparent to give a better view of the city.

Green

Each tram set consists of three compartments. A second or a third set can be added with a wireless connection in rush hours which helps to decrease the energy consumption in low hours. Also driver cabins which are on the both end of a tram set is convertible to a passenger area which provides more efficient use of volume.
